How can I find the MAC address prior to set up? I need to enter the MAC address for my Wi-fi to allow the Versa to connect.

I'm assuming you can access settings on the Versa after fully charging but before set-up. Swipe left and touch the Settings Icon. Scroll down to "About", touch and scroll down to "MAC Address".

I fully charged the Versa, but the only screen was the logo screen telling you to download the app in several languages. I tried swiping up, down, left, right. Pressed all three buttons. Pressed and held down each button. Still couldn't get it to do anything other than the logo screen. We finally disabled the security setting on our router just long enough for me to do the setup.

And, I already had the app. I'm upgrading from the Fitbit Blaze.

Thanks for letting me know the outcome.

Why don't they put the MAC address on the box since almost everyone has some kind of security on their routers now? (Or they should if they don't.) Updating over Bluetooth doesn't seem to work or takes ridiculously long.

You should be able to go into your logs for your router or go to the page where you enter your MAC Addresses for filtering. When the watch starts the update, check these locations and the MAC Adress should appear in the list. My NETGEAR Nighthawk says the name Sense (the watch I have) and shows an IP address and then a MAC Address. I check the box next to the Sense and tap on Allow. It will be different per router, but this should give some guidance. I was able to successfully update my Sense on my network with all new connections blocked even if the SSID and Passcode are entered. After selecting Allow and tapping Apply, all worked great.
