I have been trying for the last few days to get the newest update for my Versa. It looks like it might start to update, but the only thing I finally get is searching for Wi-Fi. and a little spinning thing beside it. Both the FitBit and my phone are fully charged, but nothing happens. It has been a long time since the last update and maybe I'm missing a step (due to my aging memory). I know it is an old FitBit, but I'd hate to lose it due to an update. If I can't get it to update can I get rid of the red (1) from FitBit app on my phone?

I’m happy to hear your Versa did update. You can verify it by opening your Fitbit App, tapping your profile picture then scroll down and tap Versa. Look to the top of your screen…does it say Version 35.72.1.23 or Version 32.72.1.19 ?
As far as the red number one….try logging out of the Fitbit app then log back in to see if that resolves it.

If your having difficulty installing the update try restarting your phone then try again. Make sure your Fitbit Versa has a good charge on it and plugged in to the charger for best results as well.

Well - something happened Mega Bite, but I'm not sure what. The red (1) is still showing on the FB app on my phone, but when I open it, there is no mention of an update. If it did update - how do I get rid of that red (1) ?

It says version 72.1.23 - there is no 35 in front of that number - but it says it synced today.
Thank you so much for getting me through this. I know it is an old versa and the battery needs more frequent chargings, but it keeps me walking.
The RED (1) is still on my fitbit app on my phone though.
