In the one of the ads for the Versa 2 one of the attractive Alexa features was someone using Alexa to start their run by saying "Ask Fitbit to start my run". Now, I do not do runs, I walk. Walking is loaded into my list of exercises on the Versa 2. However, when I say "Ask Fitbit to start my walk", it cheerfully tells me about the battery life of my Fitbit and nothing else happens. I also tried repeating what was said in the commercial "Ask Fitbit to start my run" and that did the exact same thing that it did when I tried to start my walk. Has anyone had any kind of success using Alexa to start your exercise?

In the press release for the Versa 2 it says:
"Starting a Fitbit Exercise on-wrist coming soon available only on Fitbit Versa 2"
I guess you have jumped the gun!

Thanks for letting me know. I was going crazy trying to figure out why no one was discussing it. Much appreciated!

@JayinToronto I think the confusion might be being caused by the timing of these posts. When the Versa 2 came out it didn't have this function but it has been added by an update since then.
