Manage workout notifications

A big reason for using a tracker is that I tend to work out too intensely, and I want a notification that buzzes when I hit peak zone and buzzes again when I've left it. Ideally, these would be the only notifications I ever get, unless I specifically set a timer or alarm.

I find that when I'm tracking a workout, I get a lot of buzzing. I turned off lap tracking, but it buzzes when I change heart rate zones (which is fine) and when I hit my daily goal and a bunch of other buzzing for reasons I can't identify. Is it possible too turn off all notifications except for when I enter/leave Peak heart rate zone? If not that, is it possible too disable any and all notifications except heart rates zones?

Hello @Ghaire

Hopefully I can help. Open your Fitbit app, tap profile picture then scroll down to and tap notifications. Disable all the notifications you don’t want here. You can also, following the same steps, open your Fitbit App, tap profile picture then tap Versa 2, scroll down and tap notifications and disable notifications you don’t want there. Then tap App notifications and again disabled what you don’t want notification about.
😃 Please let me know if this answers your question and stops notifications you don’t want

So this morning I turned off all notifications in both places, but then
later I got a notification on the watch saying "You need to get x more
Active Zone minutes this week". Then while I was running I got another
notification saying I had reached my daily goal. I just want zero
notifications until and unless I specifically ask for one. Is that possible?

Hello again @Ghaire

You can always turn on your Do Not Disturb mode on your Fitbit. Versa 2 when you want and you won’t get any notifications. Here’s how:

To turn off all notifications:
Swipe down from the top of the screen and tap the quick settings icon . Tap the Do Not Disturb icon . All notifications, including goal celebrations and reminders to move, are turned off. You can simply enable it again if you want the notifications to reappear when you desire them
