Manual button not working

Hi

 

My versa 2 button randomly stopped working yesterday. I tried resetting and restarting and pairing again, no joy. 

 

I can't navigate through any of the settings either with the button or the sensor. I'm stuck on "quick tips to use your versa 2" where it tells me to hold button to select quick settings etc. 

 

I can't get past that. I've tried so many times to restart and it didn't budge.

I'm wondering the button stuck somehow even though its moving and looks clean?

 

Someone told me their button stopped or they locked it somehow, and that it came back a few days later.

 

Is that a thing? If so how do I unlock it?

@Lasngna  - thanks, try cleaning around the button just in case it got stuck with grime.

 

If you can get to the watch Settings menu go to About and Shutdown, then wait 10 seconds before placing on the charger to restart it and charge it.

 

If you can't fix it, as it's under warranty take it back to the shop for a refund or replacement with a new one.

Hi ok2!

No solution yet. Feels like the spring could be gone. It's soft feeling to
press.

I was hoping it was like someone told me, that theirs locked and that it
came back in a few days. Hasn't come back yet. Hope I can gey it fixed
somewhere.

Hi @Lasngna -   is there not a continue button on the screen to press?

How do you restart it if the button is not working?

Can you post a photo of the screen? [use the landscape or camera icon to ad a photo]

How old is the watch?

Hi Guy,

It's 6 weeks old - since I bought it.

The button isn't working so I can't get past the first screen so I've no manual control.

I can't restart it either because of the button. I had it in another menu at the start, but once pressed I couldn't get back out because of the button.
