I recently bought a Versa and, besides what I'm about to ask about, I'm very happy with it. Here is my issue:
I have a DeskCycle under my desk at work. It comes with a calorie, distance, time, and speed calculator so I can always see exactly what I'm doing. This comes in handy when I need to manually log that exercise into Fitbit. The problem is that fitbit isn't listening to me when I tell it how many calories I burned. Let's say I input 6.3 miles, 21:10 minutes (and the correct starting time), and 153 calories. Once I hit save, Fitbit will say I've burned way more calories than 153, often times double.
I understand it is taking HR into account, but double the calories is way too much. I know I'm not burning that much. How can I make Fitbit only take into account the calories I log for that exercise?
Thanks.

Im not really sure of the answer but I suspect it just uses its own population averages when you manually log an activity and disregards what you say. I DO know it DOES NOT use your heart rate when you manually enter. but if you dont manually enter the exercise it WILL be pretty accurate in its calorie count and active minutes as it will use your heart rate.
