Message notification not received- iOS

After fixing the problem with the latest IOS update, to ensure my messages alert me, the new Fitbit update made it not work again. Anyone going through the same issue? How do we fix this one?

I already resolved the IOS update issue as I stated in my post. 
The problem is now with the FITBIT firmware update. The messages are not coming in on my Versa device. 

How is this one resolved?

@Juicy23 , a warm welcome to the Community! Thank you for your information.  If you can confirm that that your iPhone has iOS 13 installed please refer to this thread. I also suggest to keep posting there, to get the attention needed.

@JuanFitbit yes, I do have iOS 13 installed on my phone. From that update, I was not getting notifications. I made changes to the way I receive text on my phone at the issue was resolved.
Let me try to explain how it was told to me-I learned that it is a privacy issue where Apple was protecting users when they didn’t want there messages previewed on their phone,  So it will be blocked on the Fitbit also. When we allow the messages to be previewed upon unlocking or always, that is the apple users choice then it will send notifications to Fitbit for viewing. 
So after I understood this, I resolved the issue with my phone / Fitbit. 
Now, Fitbit had a firmware update and I installed that last night 10/9. Now my notifications are gone from my Fitbit again.

So it is not an apple iOS 13 issue, it now an issue with the Fitbit firmware update. 
Any ideas how to fix this one?

I “forgot this device “ then reconnected it and it worked. It vibrates when a text comes in! Thanks for your help! !!!

I removed the device and the app from my iphone (a few attempts) and shutdown the phone, then reloaded all and now I am getting texts
