Message+ text notifications not coming through

My phone is a Samsung S8 running the latest software.  My Fitbit application is the latest - installed today.  I use Message+ and am not getting notifications when I get a text.  I do get a notification when I get a phone call.

I have read through the other questions and you mention going into the Fitbit App and Notification and enabling Message+.  However, I do not have that as an option.  I have no specific apps showing as options.  It just has low battery, step milestones, friend requests, messages from friends, challenges, etc.

Everything else seems to be working fine but I do need some help on this.  Thanks.

Make sure to enable the messages+ app as your text app. 

To do so open the fitbit app, and tap on the versa icon at the top of the app. There, scroll down and look for the notification option (this is different from the one you are currently looking, so make sure to hit first on the versa icon at the top). 

There, you should see call, text, calendar, etc. Tap on text, and select messages +.

I am having the exact same issue and did what you said.  It didn't work for me.  I can receive call notifications but not text notifications.

When I go to "App Notifications", the Message+ app is faded as compared to others and will not let me click on it for some reason.

Hi Brett.  That is an option on mine.  Have you tried resetting the Versa?  Or maybe try re-installing Message+ on your phone.  

You should also check settings for Message+ on your phone for notifications.
