Multiple Device Support Plans for Newer Devices

Got a Versa 2 this week and was extremely disappointed to find out that I can no longer keep my Charge 3 active on the same account.   I like having two devices for separate uses.   Having my Charge 2 and 3 connected at the same time worked perfectly - but I gave my Charge 2 away when I got the Versa 2.      So I did the homework and know I can't have two devices that use the app store connected to the same account.  Are there plans to fix/allow this in the future?   If not, does anyone have any ideas for a creative workaround?

The "creative workaround" is to establish a completely separate account with Fitbit using a different email address.

Yeah - thanks.  I did think of that, but it would mean separate workout tracking as well.   Is there a way to track workouts separately and consolidate to one account later?
