Multiple email notifications

I use Fitbit versa with latest version, synced to iPhone 11 Pro . I get multiple notifications of emails in particular.  the only way to stop them is to delete the emails from the phone. They will keep notifying me until deleted. Its most annoying. Anyone else having the problem?
