I have read several articles on here about how to connect your watch via Bluetooth classic in order to control your music player on your phone. I have an LG v30 and it is connected via Bluetooth classic and when I am using Google music I can control it with my watch. But when I use my music player to play music that is on my phone I get the music controls screen on my watch that says "start playing music on your phone" even when I am playing music on my phone. I was wondering if anyone else had an issue like this or maybe it's just an LG thing where it doesn't like its Factory music player and I need to download a different one?

@Catfish1512 Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here! Sorry to hear that you can't control music from the music player on your phone. This could be something about app priority. For example I use some off brand bluetooth headphones and after they connect to my phone if I hit play from the headphones they will start Spotify. In my case I need to open the music player and then start playing music from there to be able to control it from the headphones (music level control and next or previous song). Still you can try refreshing the bluetooth connection between your phone and your Versa by going to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there. Restart your phone and restart your device. After this try syncing them. Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
Let me know how it goes!

I've tried several ways I unpaired and repaired it it shows it is connected via Bluetooth classic all the permissions are on in the app. If I am music Google Play music it shows up on my watch and allows me to play pause or Skip and it shows me what's playing but when I'm using the LG music app it does not show up at all.
