Music transfer not working for Fitbit Versa

This issue is for transferring my personal music as the Deezer app decided to stop working.

 

I can setup the transfer as in the Fitbit and computer connect. What I can't do is add my own music to the playlist in the Personal Music section. Whenever I drop the files in they simply don't appear. I have tried with .mp3 and .m4a files, neither have worked. Any advice on what I'm doing wrong?

@Harvey_Evans There are several things to remember when transferring music:

 

  • you need to have a strong wifi signal - place your Versa near the router
  • make sure your Versa is in the charging dock
  • all your songs have to be DRM-free
  • all your songs have to be in the compatible format
  • sometimes bluetooth interferes in the proces - try turning off bluetooth, rebooting your computer and Versa, and trying again.
