My versa has stopped recording my heart rate. What steps do I need to perform to get it working. 

 

Have restarted iPhone.

To restart your Versa:

  1. Press and hold the back (left) and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This should take less than 10 seconds.
  2. Let go of the buttons.
  3. If your Fitbit Blaze, Fitbit Ionic, or Fitbit Versa doesn't work normally, use the instructions in How do I turn off my Fitbit device? to turn your watch off and on again.

Also, be sure you have selected the heart rate (on or auto) in the app.

 

Let us know what happens.

@Amyc2404  -- it probably means that your problem is not exactly the same as the one the OP has, being very cryptic in the first place "My versa has stopped recording my heart rate. " can mean so many different things... 

 

First, does the green light still flash or not? I assume it does.

Do you see a heartrate value on the clockface of the Versa, or does it say '--' or something similar. Let us know what you see or not see?

If the Versa has stopped 'recording' a value  (which then shows as '--' or similar) while the green light on the back is still flashing, and a  restart/reset doesn't do anything, then let the community know that this is what it is, and we can continue troubleshooting.

My Versa has stopped recording my heartrate too. 

It last worked properly on Saturday 27th July 2019. 

I did not notice it until I was working out on Monday evening. 

The value is showing -- and the green light is no longer flashing. I got it to come back on for a minute later on Monday night, but it went off again. I have tried the reset option and I have tried turning it off and on again. 

Any advice?

Mine stopped tracking my heart rate (-- is what it is showing & lights seems to be working). I did not notice this until a few minutes ago. I actually came here looking to troubleshoot a lack of tracking my sleep, as well as auto tracking walks. I did just try the above advice and I think it may have solved it. I'll update if it changes.
