My Versa 2 is not receiving any notifications

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Recently received a Fitbit Versa 2 for my birthday, got it all set up and working fine. It then suddenly stopped receiving any notifications so did the new update and now I can't receive any notifications even though I have checked all settings and it says everything is enabled. I also have a warning message that states I need to restart my phone to re enable notifications but I have tried this and nothing changed, also went through all other necessary set up settings and still no luck, using the Fitbit Community Forum.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @llewis90.

Thank you for the information provided and for trying to resolve the issue with your Fitbit Versa 2 before contacting us.

Our team is aware of this issue with notifications and is working to identify a resolution as quickly as possible. We're sorry for any trouble this situation could have caused to you. We appreciate your patience and look forward to getting you back on track.

In the meantime, some users have had success after following the next steps:

- Uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app

- On your phone, open the Settings app > Apps and notifications > Apps, give all the permissions to the app
- Tap Fitbit > Battery Launch (manages if the app is running in the background) - tap the 3 dots at the top right corner - Manage manually (here is the list of all the apps on the phone) - on the Fitbit app icon, check the 3 boxes Manage automatically, Secondary launch, and Run in background.

- Reboot your phone and restart your Fitbit Versa 2.

Hope this helps.
