My Versa Lite replacement stopped working

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have use different fitbit watches for many years. I am very disappointed with them. Everyone I owned all stopped working within 16 months. The last one I bought I got the warranty with it. I was charged $35 to replace it. I believe I was sent a refurbished one. Stopped working within a month. Sorry to say but I think I am going to look else where. It's sad because I do really like the watch but I would like something thats going to last longer. Specially for the price.

Hi there, @Tpjohnson22. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa Lite. We‘re taking your comments and sentiments in regards to our products and services into consideration.

To better assist you with this, may I know the issues you're experiencing with your Versa Lite? Nevertheless, if you experience any of the following issues and you've checked your settings, restart your device:

  • Won't sync
  • Won't respond to taps, swipes, or button press
  • Won't track steps or other data
  • Won't show notifications or reminders

Restarting your device turns it off and on without deleting any activity data. For more information, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?

Hope that helps.

Over the past 4 or 5 years I have had different fitbit, Blaze, versa 1,
versa 2, versa lite etc. Everyone only lasted about 14 to 18 months.
Screens had turned black on everyone. They all seemed to work, just the
display screen would stop working. Tried resetting them called customer
service with all of them but even they could not fix the issue. I have no
complaints with customer service. They were very nice. It just seems like
I have no luck with their product.

Screen is black and restarting it does not fix the issue.

I also have the same problem. I got a fit bit versa in December. It died in June. Got a replacement and now that has died tonight. Both times the screen just stops working so I can see the time but that's it. I only realise it's happening cause my alarm goes off and I am not able to stop it.

Restarting the fitbit does not help.

What happens how I have already had a replacement?? This device has not even lasted a year. Very disappointed. T.I.A
