My Versa isn't syncing

I am a big advocate for fitbit and always say it's great however, I got my fitbit versa at the beginning of August and since the end of August I have been having syncing issues. I've tried all advice on the forums etc but every time I want to sync I have to shut down and restart my phone and even then it doesn't always sync...help!

Hey @Fridayfuncat, it is great to see new faces around! Thanks for trying some troubleshooting prior contacting us. Since you still experiencing syncing issues with your Versa, I suggest you to review all the other tips in this help article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? Also, please make sure that you have the latest version of the Fitbit app installed on your phone.

Let me know how it goes!

Hi I have gone through each of these things and sadly still can't sync.

Read the other threads about connecting or syncing to find the problems some people have,  at the heart of all the issues is that fitbit does not support all phones and therefore some of us are having issues while for others it's working great.  Plus it's the same if you have a unsupported phone, some work great, some like my oneplus 5T are a real pain.  Up until about 10 days ago I had to delete the fitbit app and reinstall it every 2 days to get mine to sync. It's much better today and but every 2 days it now forgets my WiFi password and stops syncing,  but saying this just noticed it had lost it sync on 19th,  so re-entered WiFi password and this time its not ok again, so back to deleting app and reinstalling again.    This is despite my charge 2 working perfectly for 6 months.

For many it's great 😁for many it's not😢

Thanks for taking the time to try the steps that I previously posted @Fridayfuncat! Since the issue persists, I'd like to know, what is the type of phone that you are using? Is it a compatible device? I'm asking because as @VFRMark mentioned, if your phone isn't compatible, you might experience connectivity issues and sometimes the troubleshooting  might work and other times it won't, maybe because the phone still under testing. For further information guys, you can also review this help article: Which phones and tablets can I use with my Fitbit watch or tracker?
