My experience with Fitbit Versa 2 and the Customer Service

5th fitbit. All broke in some way or stopes working after becoming faulty. This replacement pod (main piece) has stopped working. Fitbit logo flashes every second. No buttons work. No resets work no app updates work. Had to buy new one only offered 35% discount for the hassle. New one arrived and the date of manufacture for this one is March 2021. Extremely poor service don't know why I stupidly bought replacement but felt that was better than finding alternative and paying higher. Very dissatisfied at customer service and this replacement of a replacement costing me a large amount as replacements even tho within the year don't have warranty. Apparently. Given silly responses on Facebook messenger.

Hi there, @Citygirlrock. Welcome to the Community Forums. We‘re taking into consideration your comments and sentiments with regards to our products and services.

Thanks for your question about why we offered a discount towards a new Fitbit product instead of a replacement of your existing Fitbit product. Our limited warranty provides repair or replacement of products that have a defect while still in the warranty period. Since your device was out of the warranty period, and therefore was not eligible for repair or replacement, we wanted to offer you a discount to thank you for your loyalty to Fitbit.

For more information about our warranty, see fitbit.com/legal/returns-and-warranty or please feel free to contact our team back so they can clarify any doubt.

Thanks for your understanding. Have a nice day.
