My Versa 2 did not even last 2 years. This is my second fitbit I've had (the 1st one died in less than 2 years as well). Its unfortunate that there are no repair shops for them because I refuse to replce a watch every 1.5 years. I love all the features, but its ridiculous that the product doesn't last. It saddens me to part ways with the company, but I feel if I purchased another product, it'd be a waste of money. Can anyone suggest another fitness tracker that's accurate, but will actually last for years to come?

I've owned an Apple Watch and a Samsung watch before the Versa 2 that I own now. The Samsung lasted over 3 years before the battery gave out; they no longer sell the model that I had on their site. The apple watch is fine but is expensive and comes with a hefty repair fee if you break the screen (i.e. without the $4/mo warranty you pretty much pay full price). The button on my Versa 2 died two weeks after I received it (warranty replacement is on its way). I've heard good things about Garmin, but have never owned one of their devices.

So all four of us, the versa 2 just stopped? Mine turned off last night and it won't charge.

Yes that's exactly what happened to me too. I spoke with a firbit help support associate and he suggested to try snd charge using different plugs in the house, or try and hold and press the button to see if it would start. Nothing, helped. Then he said he would reach out to his manager and they would contact me via email. A few minutes later I just got an email saying attached is a 35% off for a new device. Honestly this sucks, my fitbit was working fine and all of a sudden just died for no reason, like it's expiry date was reached.

My versa 2 stopped working as well, this is my second watch to do this from fitbit, first one was the charge. my first one that did this I thought it could have been something I did. but for this to happen to the versa 2 the exact same thing and for me to have a screen protector on it as well. it was like new! very disappointing to say the least.

So bizarre so many versa’s stopped working last night! Mine stopped working about two weeks, was charging it for a bit before leaving for work when I went to get it, it was super hot and would not come on, so I left it at home. I tried to charge it again but it didn’t seem to be charging so for a few days I was bummed it had quit working. I randomly decided to try and charge it one more time a few days later and low and behold it strayed charging! I went ahead and tried syncing it and there was an update, which downloaded and then started working again but the battery drains super fast and now it doesn’t track my sleep, weird!!!

Ditto!! I had the same experience. They sent
me a discount to buy another. I will research other options.

So mine shut off on the same day as well. I'm finding this a little too coincidental. I have purchased two fitbit and both have lasted only a couple of years. Honestly if they can only work for a few years there are other activity watches that are significantly less expensive.

ya, there has to be cheaper solutions. not to mention why do the watches stop working almost In and around two years🤷:female_sign: that makes no sense. All firbit has to say is they will give a discount....disappointing to say the least. they are not cheap to begin with. I understand we live in a throw away society but for the amount of people that this continues to happen to and this not being my only watch it has happened to is discouraging to say the least.

My Versa 2 quit showing my heart rate on Sunday night/Monday morning. I'm on my 3rd Versa with the 1st one being replaced under warranty. And this one is about 15 months old. I agree with everyone these should last longer than 1 1/2 years. I'm with all of you and researching other options. I love my fitbit but I shouldn't have to replace is every 15 months.

We understand the purpose of the discount code. But, seems like this is another Apple situation. Did the last update do something to our Versa 2 to go out and force us to buy a newer model watch? I had mine for 15 months. Nothing happened to it, it just stopped. When I finally got something other than a battery error symbol, it was my screen charging but stayed on 0% for 30 mins. For so many people to have had the same issue, seems odd to me.

It seems like something fishy is going on here. My Versa 2 also shut down overnight and will not turn on. I’ve charged it and still nothing.

Sadly the galaxy watch4 had bad reviews and was more expensive. I ordered the versa 3. Hopefully this won't happen again...
