My experience with Versa 2 and Customer Service

My Versa 2 did not even last 2 years. This is my second fitbit I've had (the 1st one died in less than 2 years as well). Its unfortunate that there are no repair shops for them because I refuse to replce a watch every 1.5 years. I love all the features, but its ridiculous that the product doesn't last. It saddens me to part ways with the company, but I feel if I purchased another product, it'd be a waste of money. Can anyone suggest another fitness tracker that's accurate, but will actually last for years to come?

I can't get more than 8 or 9 months out of the Fitbit watch. After 4 of them I got a 27 dollar watch from prime that did everything Fitbit did and it lasted almost 3 years plus the band didn't give my arm sores and blisters.

Well this is a bummer to read!!! I came to the forum for help on troubleshooting my versa2 because it keeps locking up, the screen won’t swipe, and a reboot doesn’t do anything. I’ve tried several troubleshooting tips I read here in the forum, none of which works and after reading all these comments I’m afraid this means my watch is dying. I’ve had my Fitbit 2 years like most here have mentioned. This is so sad and I agree with everyone that for what we paid for these things they should last much longer than 2 years, that’s insanity!! What a disappointment! 😞

I hate to have to buy another one but if that’s the only solution I guess I should connect support for a 35% off coupon?!

This is bizarre, my versa 2 has also stopped working, it won't accept the charge and now is dead. My old Alta still works so have had to put it on. It was a Christmas present from my three children and so has only been on my wrist for 5 months, what happens now? How do I claim a replacement under warranty?
