My steps get reduced after syncing my Versa 2

I know I completed 12 000 step + as flashed whilst out for a run today. Looking at my watch now says only 3000 steps for the day. Where has the rest of my steps disappeared too?

Does anyone else have this issue?

Thank you for the information provided.

 

This usually happens when you enter information on a third party app connected to your Fitbit account. Please verify if there is no information logged from a third party app that could have overridden the steps registered by your Fitbit Versa 2.

 

You can go to this link to see the list of your activities and remove the one(s) causing the problem to get back the missing steps.
