My versa 2 stopped working

My versa 2 battery was low -- around 25% so I plugged it into the charger before I went to bed.  This morning I put it on and the screen was black.  I tried to restart it and nothing happened.  I tried pushing the button rapidly for about 10 seconds, and nothing happened.  I guess it  died in its sleep.  Any ideas on how to wake it up?

Please try to plug the Versa 2 on another wall socket or USB port and charge it for at least 30 minutes. Then try to restart it.

It appears that as of September 2021, there are a lot of us Versa 2 users who are having the same type a problem and issues. Come on Fitbit, own up and take care of this issue  Obviously this problem is affecting way to many owners.

They won't. On Chat, they admitted to me it's a known issue they are working on. And then told me I should buy a new one, as mine is out of warranty. 

This is not a hardware issue, and they don't own it.
