Need help understanding activity logs

Bad enough I get false floors, false sleep tracking, now since Saturday I'm getting false activity. I did no exercise yesterday yet I got a shiny bunch of stars pop up during a sync saying I did 92 minutes. Today, when I got up and synced, said I did 64 minutes. Alas I'm past the deadline to return so I now have a $300 watch, time is the only thing accurate. At least I do get notifications unless my phone is asleep.

It’s looking at your heart rate.  Has nothing to do with exercising.

Change you heart rate zones.

Same here, find out your target heart rate and change the zones for you and that will stop. I'm a teacher and it always clocks my activity with the kids until I changed the zones to actual workout zones .

Just odd it started doing this now... if it's the heart rate zones controlling this, it should of been doing this since I first bought the Versa. On a side note, of the 64 min it recorded for today, a good chunk of it was when I was asleep.

Must have been a good dream.

Yes it didn't do it with my last Fitbit either and I noticed it recently as
well. It's very odd we have to do all these work around to get the correct
data.

Why is this a workaround?  Everybody has a different threshold for what defines exercise.  Fitbit can’t decide for you.  There are defaults.

I think everybody gets a bit carried away expecting perfection.  So it counts 62 steps when I drive my car for an hour.  Or monitors 15 mins of exercise when I don’t feel I exorcised.  Or adds 4 flights of stairs.

It is only an approximation of your actual activity.  It won’t ever be perfect. Accept it.
