My Fitbit Veras said I had fAllen asleep at 9:33am. And had slept tI’ll about 4:15pm. Which was wrong I had taken off the Fitbit and put it back on around 11am. I’ve had a FItbit blaze before so I know all the steps to track my sleep properly. Correct possifions on wrist, restarting watch (several times), regular sleep sensitivity, full battery, etc.
The longer sleep hours are when I have manually selected “Begin Sleep Now”. The one from Thursday night is impossible. I was still awake and moving around at time. And I remember going to bed past 11pm. This needs to be fixed. Sleep is spontaneous.
I do work overnights and I love/need the sleep tracker to work to make sure I get enough sleep before my shift.

@Zumbzbarre Welcome! Thanks for being part of our Community! Thank you for trying several troubleshoots on your Fitbit Versa. I suggest you change the handedness to the other hand you are wearing your watch (even if that is the dominant hand) this way you will make the Versa a little bit more sensitive so it would expect to not sense that much movement. This should help avoid inaccurate sleep detection. Also when changing trackers make sure you sync them at the time so all data is synced properly, once you sync again your Blaze data (which shows you have been active) should be taken into account. If this issue persist then try removing one device and just wear one for a few days to see how it behaves.
Let me know how it goes!

My watch is on my dominant hand. I do not wear watch on my non-dominant hand. It feels too uncomfortable. Also my blaze watch has been removed as I am no longer using it. I know how to wear a Fitbit watch. I have worn them for several years. There is something going on with my versa in the fact that it is not tracking sleep correctly on its own. I should not have to select “begin sleep now” on the app to track me sleep properly.
The blaze watch itch was given to someone else. It is no longer in my possession.
