Hello Everyone, I was excited to be part of fitbit family, I asked my friend who was coming from USA to bring me a fitbit versa 2, I stay in India, the order was placed on Nov 25th, 2022 and I received the device on Jan 12, 2023 and the fitbit box never open until it reached me, upon unboxing it at first the versa 2 was not getting switch on and I thought to charge it over night (I saw the blue fitbit logo).
But next morning I found the display was black and was not able to switch it on, the charger is working because my friend has a same versa 2 and was able to charge it fine.
Upon checking few troubleshooting steps online I was still unable to switch on it.
Following T/S already done but didn't fix my issue.
1. Charge it over night.
2. Clean watch and charger contact points
3. Press and hold the fitbit button for more than 30 seconds but it never switch on
Is there any T/S step I have missed your help would be really appreciated.
My diagnose say I might have received a defect device which is very unfortunate as I was excited to use it.
P.S : I have already contacted Fitbit support via chat and received email communication today (it took 4 days for that) and will be sending them the detail they have asked and update here.
