I am so confused with my brand new Fitbit.  I was so excited to get it and nothing makes sense.   I only have one button and i have read you need to push the side and bottom button to reset.  It has me burning all these calories and I have not even used it yet.  Also it has my results for the last two months and it just came in the mail today.  None of it is making sense.  I just want to get a somewhat accurate calorie count.  I can’t sinc it to Strava.  Help please

The calories already burned are probably the BMR (basal metabolic rate) calories, what you are always burning just by being alive.   Fitbit counts them even when you are not wearing the tracker, and fills them in as past history.  Just ignore the previous calories.

For more on these, see How does Fitbit estimate how many calories I've burned?

Here is a more general getting started section that might help:

How do I get started with Fitbit Versa Lite Edition?

Also if you click 'Help' near top right of this page, then click Versa, it will take you to a help page for Versa and Versa Lite, including link to pdf manual for Versa Lite.

The restart option for Versa Lite is explained here:

How do I restart my Fitbit device?

Note that "restart" and "factory reset" are very different operations, though often carelessly (in my opinion) named interchangeably.  "Restart" is safe to try for any problems and does not affect any data.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
