New Fitbit - can’t send quick replies on device

Hi my husband and I received our new Versa 2 Fitbits yesterday. He is able to send quick replies and speak into his device to send replies but I am unable to. I tried everything and made sure all my notifications are on. I even turned on my app notifications and see “quick replies,” but when I press on a text message on my Fitbit, I am still unable to send quick replies. It just comes up automatically on his Fitbit. Please help. Thanks.

Do you happen to have an iPhone? Quick Replies only work on Android phones.

Oh I see. I do have an iphone, and my husband uses an android phone. That
would explain why I can't send quick replies. Another reason to switch over
to android lol. Thank you.
