Hi. Does anyone know the if the actual case diameter will be bigger than the Versa? It is saying 8% bigger...is that just the screen view or the whole diameter? I have a small frame and the Versa is still too big. I was hoping the Versa 2 was a bit smaller. Thank you.

Hi, @Pamj77 - Here is a comparison of the sizing specs for the Versa and Versa 2. Hope that helps.

I can't find any documentation to confirm but visually comparing them the Versa 2 looks ever so slightly taller and thicker with the width about the same. It's certainly not smaller as you had hoped.

Hi @Pamj77 I was able to take a side by side photo of the Versa 2 and the Versa. The difference is not as great as I would have thought. Like you, I have a small wrist and was somewhat concerned about the V2 being larger. But I find it very comfortable. I really cannot tell the difference on my wrist. If you want to test it yourself, keep in mind that most retailers offer a period of time when you can return it if you don’t like it. Best Buy does for sure.

And what is Versa 2 screen resolution in pixels?

I can't see a reference to that in the official documentation (I'm sure someone will post if I missed it) but I did see in an online review:
"While the original Versa and Versa Lite have LCDs, the Versa 2 uses a new AMOLED screen. It has the same 300-by-300 resolution, but can display much darker blacks and more vivid colors."

The thing missing from the dimensions @SunsetRunner posted is the depth, with the Versa 2 being slightly bigger in depth. With that said though, I'm finding the Versa 2 extremely comfortable.

I've actually got very skinny wrists for a guy (using small leather band).

Here you are, @Pamj77 . My cat photo bombed the photo. I didn’t have the heart to crop her out.
You’ll see I do not have a standard Fitbit band on my Versa 2. I have arthritis in my hands and the narrower third party band keeps the V2 comfortable on my wrist.

“Patches” says thank you, @Pamj77! @N8teGee and I are both members of Fitbit’s Community Council. As members, we often have a chance to receive our devices before everyone else so that we may learn as much as we can in order to answer pre-sale questions and to be able to jump in to help once the new device is released. As you can probably tell, he and I are pretty excited about the new Versa 2!

Hi Pamj77, I tried attaching a photo of both the original Versa and the Versa 2 on my wrist, but it seems the photo is too large to attach. Bummer. If someone has tips about how to do this, I’d appreciate the assistance. Like you, Pamj77, I have a small frame and wrist. but I like them both very much and find each of them extremely comfortable to wear. Perhaps I’ll be able to attach a photo later.

Pamj77, my last post included the photo.....I can see it in my fitbit community post, but it seems it’s not visible to you, is that right? If you can now see it, I believe the perspective of the photo is not true to how it looks. The photo is a close up which makes it appear larger.
