New update not allowing notifications

I just updated my Fitbit Versa and now my notifications arent going through to my watch. I have done everything!

Anyone else having issues?

Hi, if you've read the warning on top of the Customer Support site and you will see that Fitbit is working hard to find a solution for this by Apple caused problem. Regards kuzibri

Hi @Jensen1804, if you happen to have an iPhone, see the warning on top of the Customer Support site. The problem is caused by Apple, who changed the rules regarding the handling of notifications without informing Fitbit about it. Regards kuzibri

So does Fitbit have to change things technically for us to be able to receive the notifications again? Or does Apple have to change something?

@SunsetRunner is this an issue that Fitbit has to fix or apple? Or is this a "done" issue and will just not work from here on out?

I have a Samsung, not Iphone 

 

I unpaired my versa and re added it. Its fine now.
