I have been trying several times to link my phone number to with the fitbit application as well as my watch, but it doesn’t seem like it’s recognizing my phone number. it’s in a working condition, but the sms code isn’t being received on my end when i confirm my phone number with the correct area code as well. if you could pls advise on this.

I have similar issue on the pixel watch. The OTP does not come through on my phone (Pixel 6 Pro & Pixel 4 XL) even though my phone is working perfectly fine. Have tried it over 50+ times on the phone and on the website. There is no solution to this on the article you provided.
