No SpO2?

I just got a new Versa 2 (24hrs ago), specifically for the SpO2 feature.

When I tried to download the one clock face that gives that data, it says I need to update my App and my Fitbit. Based on the Help files, I deleted and did a fresh install of the App from Google Play. The Fitbit thinks it is updated and shows the version as 35.70.7.14. This seems like it should work - any ideas on how to make it work?

Is there any other way to access the SpO2 information?

There seems to be a delay in the app for it to know that your Versa needs updating (happened to me too, it took me a day for the app to ask me to update the watch). But if you want to do something about it, you can go into:

the app > top left profile icon > scroll down to Help & Support > Check for Versa update

and it may have it there. Good luck!

Hello @Joanitude and welcome to the Help forums.  Your Versa 2 has the firmware from when it was manufactured, not the current firmware that you need for the SpO2 clock face .  You should get the update you need in the next 2-3 days.  It will show up as a banner in your app that you have an update available.

Me too. I got my new versa 2 yesterday and I was out and about while I charged it in my car. Then I opened the app to set up the new versa, it asked to update (I was using 4g and bluetooth since I wasn't at home). It removed my charge 3 from my app and added the versa 2.

I have uninstalled the Fitbit app and reinstalled it on my phone this morning. It still shows app and device are up to date. But there's several clock faces I like that I can't access bc it says my app or device are not fully updated.

I wish it would fully update the app and device when you're setting it up initially so we don't have to wait. My app still shows active minutes, not active zones. 😫😭🤬

Mine did an update when brand new. It did another 12+ hours later. Silly me, I thought that meant it was current. Earlier today, 36 hours in, it found another update. Now it works.

Thank you, but it didn't work. Says Versa 2 is up to date! However, i have
version 35.70.714, though the latest one should be 35.71.619

Thank you anyway

I am facing same issue. It says app and device updated however unable to select spo2 clock face. I have purchased this watch today. Should I wait? Or is it available only in selected countries?
