@Sunshine2867

It has probably stopped syncing.

Try

Shutdown the watch.

Restart the phone.

Place the watch on the charger to restart it and then try syncing again.

There is normally a simple solution to any issue.

A factory reset is a drastic step and should be only be used as a last resort, as it is likely to make things worse or even destroy the watch in some cases.

Done all of it and my watch can’t record and show my heart beat.

Check in Settings on the watch that heart measurement is turned on.

If it is swipe up to get to the Today info and see if heart rate is showing.

If it is and you are using a non Fitbit watch face try changing to a Fitbit one.

Delete fitbit app from your phone. Restart phone. Then read fitbit app.

Put fitbit device in charging cradle if less than 50% battery.

Then try resyncing.

@BarbieBoyle   thanks for the suggestion.

FYI, There is a possibility to edit a post in the top right corner, with the three dots or in a similar location in a dark theme browsing.

As regards deleting the App. This is an option mainly for iPhone users. It is never necessary for Android users.

In this case as the problem seems to be on the watch itself it is probably rather a drastic step and other less serious measures may solve the problem.

Not so! I'm an android girl and after this last update I lost heartrate
tracking and sleep tracking.
Restarting device did nothing so I removed app and re-added app and all is
good!

@BarbieBoyle  In your case as an Android user, simply clearing the cache and force stopping the App would have been a much easier option, for the glitch in the App that you experienced. Here is the procedure if you ever need it again.

In Android phone Settings *

Apps

Fitbit

Storage - clear cache [not data]

Force Fitbit stop

[though it doesn't seem to fully]

Log back in to the Fitbit app

*Quick Shortcut: Press and hold the Fitbit launch icon, then App info [on some phones]

It's not me having the issue. So, no, I wouldn't need to do that.
