Hi everyone,

can someone maybe help me with a problem? I have my Fitbit versa 2 for 3 days now and I am tracking my sleep. After the first night I received a sleep score but the days after I didn’t. It is not even showing the sleeping stages like for example REM sleep. It only shows time awake, restlessness and a falling a sleep time. I already synced my phone with the watch again, switcht my Bluetooth off and on again and I cannot update the Fitbit app on my iPhone 11 Pro so I don’t know wat to do? I would really like to see the sleep score and the different stages of sleep since I want to keep track of that.

It can't calculate a sleep score without the sleep stages information. Fitbit say:

"There are a few scenarios where you might see your sleep pattern (which shows your time asleep, restless, and awake) instead of sleep stages:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed). For more information on automatic sleep tracking, see How do I track my sleep?
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

For more information about why you see your sleep pattern, tap or click the sleep record that shows your sleep pattern."

I’m sorry but this didn’t help solve anything, it just reiterates information I was already aware of. Still can’t track my sleep score.

Tried every scenario listed... Tech support was useless. 5 days straight with no detailed sleep or score... no sleeping pattern changes have occured & amazingly, I still have a heartbeat! Guess I'll keep contacting Tech support untill someone gets it right...

I'm having the same problem. Was getting a sleep score for weeks and now for some reason I'm getting the scaled down sleep stages. Not sure what's up. Im wearing the fitbit as I always have. Still sleeping the same too. Oh the info from fitbit is useless. Ugh.
