No swimming app

Hi I bought a Fitbit Versa lite to track my swimming but there is no swimming mentioned in the exercises, I have googled and tried to follow the instructions but when I click on advanced settings there isn’t even an option for swimming, does anyone know how or if I can add it on?

I'm afraid swimming tracking is only available on the Versa, not on the Versa Lite. See: https://www.fitbit.com/compare

Very dissapointing that Versa Lite cannot track swimming. My main reason of bying a smartwatch was the abiltity to track swimming laps. 

To be honnest, I bought Versa Lite thinking I was buying a Versa. My error but a pitty I cannot use Versa Lite to track my laps

Versa Light An expensive and frustrating experience. I too purchased a versa light primarily to track my swimming. I told the salesclerk that - in 3 months it tracked 2 weeks of swimming adequately well. Other weeks it did not track my swimming at all or it tracked 30 minutes. It was never accurate. Despite turning off running,workouts, biking etc the device tracked them. Sometimes I get stats in my swims immediately after my swim then it disappears never to return. It has taken a lot of time, engendered a lot of frustration and used up available $$ that could have been put toward an effective swim tracking device. I have consulted the online help folks who do not really seem to know the product, I have asked to return it  - that was declined - without any remedial option. I cannot recommend this device at all. There are a gazillion step counters out there - One does not need a Fitbit to count steps. It does track sleep but reliability is questionable given plethora of so many other inaccuracies.

Hello,
Swimming is tracked and data collected and displayed under the exercise of
the week. It took me as long time to figure that out. It tracks time
distance, speed per 100 and calories. It doesn’t provide a weekly summary
of the swimming - that is disappointing.
