Not Counting Steps

I’ve had my Versa for a few months.  I’ve had occasions where it stops counting steps sporadically but today it has barely counted any of my steps.  It counts a few every now and then but mostly not.  Help?!

Hi, restart your Versa 4-5 times in a row by pressing and holding the left and right lower buttons together untill you see the Fitbit logo and release the buttons. Usually this should solve the problem, unless you're using a Third Party Clock Face, which has either expired or removed by Fitbit. In the last case, install a clock Face developed by Fitbit itself. Good luck and if you really think my post is helpfull, see my signature. Thanks.

do you happen to notice a trend of when that happens? a restart should help, but I am wondering if there is something happening that "triggers" it..

For the restart @SunsetRunner, @SunsetRunner is right....assuming you have the regular Versa.  If you have the Lite edition, just hold down the side button for about 10 seconds until you see the Fitbit logo appear.  This means that the restart has been successful!
