Hi there,
All of a sudden yesterday my Fitbit stopped receiving any notifications from my phone. I’ve had the fitbit since Christmas and have never had this issue. I’ve tried all of the tips on this website to get notifications again- restarting Fitbit and iPhone, turning Fitbit off, forgetting Fitbit in Bluetooth from phone and re-establishing. Nothing is working.
Any help would be appreciated.

Same reason as all mentioned. When I restart, reboot it works for sometime and then I stop getting notifications. This is so annoying! The only reason I upgraded to versa 2 is for the notifications and it doesn't work

Update: None of the range of trouble shooting worked (for almost 6 months) until today - Dec 15. Today I updated my FitBit app with the recent update and then I went through the range of trouble shooting given on the FitBit website again on both my Husbands Ionic and my Versa and it worked! Finally! After months of no messaging. Yay!

recently discovered the “Share System Notifications” under my Versa in Bluetooth section! Never knew this was there.
500 different ways to turn off your notifications on these things.

I have tried everything and I still don't recieve notifications. It just stopped this morning. My watch is maybe 2 months old.

Mine isnt receiving messages all of a sudden either! Facebook messenger messages... yes. And I have those unchecked! And my messages selected as my regular message app on my phone!
I have an S10.... I bought this versa 2 FOR the alerts and alexa voice reply. I CANT reply to messages that arent coming through

Is this setting on an android or iPhone? I can't seem to find it in mine and I've have all the mentioned issues for MONTHS, despite going through all the trouble hitting steps many times.

My fitbit versa 2 has all of a sudden quit showing my notifications. I did all of the steps that were shown on Google, and it is still not working. Can you help?

What phone do you have? On my Samsung S10 the only options in Bluetooth Versa settings are rename and unpair.

I tried all the ideas multiple times on my S10. What finally worked for me reset wifi/Bluetooth on my phone and factory reset on the versa. But that wipes your wifi logins, but I only use 3 locations. so easy to enter them. Don't think on my S10 that you can just forget all bluetooth connections. I would first just try factory reset of the versa making sure it goes through the 30 minute process.

I am completely annoyed, I have uninstalled the app...started from the VERY beginning and still nothing it going on day 4...mind you this is my second Verse that I just got a couple of months ago...the other one just died, would NOT charge...so I started fresh and now this...REALLY...what's next FITBIT versa techs?
