I am not sure why the developers would roll out a product that is completely reliant on a 3rd party device for initial setup. Anyone who network security or simply trying to get the Versa to stable state to understand if not defective. I have been going through cycles to do what older fitbit models and other devices have done at ease. Initial setup. I am sure this will be in the technology reviews and seen as a huge missed opportunity to take market share from Apple or other devices.

Welcome to the Community @Dan_Sum18! Thanks for sharing your experience with Versa. I wanted to assure you that we take into consideration all the comments provided by our users to continue improving your experience. To make sure that your watch is working correctly, please restart it.
Also, make sure that your network type is compatible with your Fitbit watch by reviewing the supported network types in How do I connect my Fitbit watch to Wi-Fi? For best results, use your home or work Wi-Fi network.
Then move on to the troubleshooting steps if needed, in the help article Why won't my Fitbit watch connect to Wi-Fi?
I hope this helps! 😉
