Not able to set up Versa

Whenever I try to update over WiFi the update starts but then the watch gets a red Cross and disconnects. Bluetooth is taking hours to move even by 1 percent. I have a good internet connection, that is not the issue. I have tried restarting and removing the device from the Bluetooth settings as well nothing is working. Please help

@Rogzdar I'm assuming your watch is still linked with your Fitbit account. First, you need to restore a proper BT connection between Versa and your phone, so the device can sync:

  1. Unpair (remove) Versa from your phone's bluetooth settings
  2. Uninstall the Fitbit mobile app
  3. Reboot your phone and install Fitbit mobile app. Do not pair in your phone's bluetooth settings
  4. Reboot your Versa by pressing and holding the left and bottom right buttons until Fitbit logo flashes
  5. Login to Fitbit mobile app
  6. Grant all permissions and sync.

The trick here is to not pair in phone Bluetooth settings but rather let the Fitbit mobile app do that.

Now, assuming you have a firmware update available in your Fitbit mobile app, make sure both Versa and your phone are on strong wifi network and very close to router. Place your Versa in the charging dock and start the update. It should take between 10-30 minutes depending on your Wifi. Make sure you're running the latest Fitbit mobile app Version. If you still have the same issues, try updating on different wifi network (e.g. at your friend's place).
