Not compatible with my phone

I have a Huawei mate 20 pro and didn't realise when purchasing the versa 2 that it is not compatible. I did my research and didn't see in any of the descriptions that this was the case. Only found out from Fitbit support after contacting them many times. Now too late to send back. Can my phone be added to the support list? When the watch notifications work, the watch is great. But this only lasts for hours before it knocks off the support. I have to the reinstall the app to get it to work again. Which is ridiculous and in reliable. Please help!

I was told by Fitbit that the only way my phone was to possibly be added onto the list is for me to suggest that it's added via this forum.

Thank you, yes that is the issue, I just wasn't aware of an issue when I purchased. It doesn't say on description that it's not compatible with Huawei. Fitbit themselves told me to post on here then they may make Huawei compatible. In which I don't understand as now realised many people have had the issue for months. I was promised it would be sorted at start of march, if I had known I was going to still have the issue in near August I would have sent the watch back....now it's too late 😬

I know that Huawei phones have been problematic for Fitbit users, but the specific issue documented in that link only started a few days ago and Fitbit say:

"We apologize for the inconvenience, and are working to resolve this as quickly as possible. We will update this thread as soon as we have more details on this fix"

So, if this is the issue that causing you problems then it seems that a fix will be coming soon.
