Not reading heart rate correctly

Hi,

im a newer user to my Fitbit versa. So far has been great, but I noticed this weekend while I was being very active that the heart rate was only at around 110. Whereas other times I’ve been active but not quite as much as this weekend, it would be 150+. I’m assuming this is because of sweat, so I tried moving the band up my wrist like I had seen suggested, but still with no luck.

I have a heart arrhythmia, and the main reason I got a Fitbit was to keep track of that! So a bit disappointed.

I'm a longtime Versa owner and also have a heart arrhythmia, AFib. The Versa and most other health tracking watches are not sensitive enough to show heart arrhythmias. The only one I've heard will do this is the Apple watch and to use it you need to have an Apple phone.

There is a tiny device, really a pocket EKG machine, for under $100 that will track arrhythmias. It's called the Kardiamobile.

Beyond the above, if you search this forum  you will find several threads talking about how Versa gets quite inaccurate when one exercises vigorously. The company is aware of this and has been promising a fix for over a year.

At least for me, it helps quite a bit when I use an elliptical if I wear the watch several inches above my wrist. However, when I do strength training exercises the watch will show a much higher than accurate reading.
