Not really waterproof

I have bricked my second Versa 3 in 1.5 years. Both times because I wore it in water. I purchased in Sep 2020 and wore it swimming one time in June 2021 and it bricked. Fitbit replaced it and I wore it in the shower in Feb 2022 and it bricked - no replacement. Never buying a fitbit again.

Hi @Faraday137  - Fitbit don't advise contact with hot water or detergents.

The seal may not be very robust over time [look in the forums for ones where even the face fell off] and in all probability replacement ones may not be waterproof if they have been refurbished.

Depending on the damage, once dry, they may become operational as long as they don't get wet.

Thanks for the advice - much appreciated. Still - after 8 months - seems pretty lame for a $300 waterproof watch that it cannot survive one shower.... My wife has a Versa 2 and no such issues and no issues with my neighbours' apple watches. Seems to me like Versa 3's have a flawed design. My Blaze lasted much longer...
