Not recording my exercise

Since the latest update on Versa 3 it's not always recording my exercise correctly. Today I did a 35 min walk, but the steps and distance isn't accurate. In fact I got my 10,000 steps as I was finishing my walk, but then later I noticed my watch was only showing 7,941 and I had only done 1,500 steps. This also happened last week.
