Not seeing steps on Versa 2

Hi , I have installed my own photo on my versa 2 watch now I cannot see steps. Can you only see steps in original screensaver. Thanks you

You can see steps in the Fitbit app.

If you want to see it on the watch you can swipe up from the bottom, which opens the Today app and you will get all the relevant information.

Or find a watch face which gives you what you want.
