Hello! I'm having trouble activating vibration for text notifications. I receive notifications but without vibration. Yesterday I made the update and note that I no longer have the option to turn on or off notifications on the fitbit watch, which appeared along with the screen wake option when I kept the left button pressed. When I get calls it vibrates , but not with texts. I have an Android and this had not happened to me before. I already checked the options of vibrating and that notifications are activated in the app, but when I slid down the screen of the versa, I have notifications and I don't realize it because it doesn't vibrate, just calls.

That's my problem, I can't see if the notifications are on or off, before the update I looked at it holding the left button, but now I don't know where to locate that option. I entered the settings app, I went down to the Left button section and tap on it, but all I can do is change the shortcut option (music control, notifications or quick settings) but I can't access the notifications part to see If they are on or off. I don't know why when they call me it vibrates and alerts me ... but not with texts, those are silent. I don't know how to access or find the option in the fitbit for turn on and off notifications

Having the same issue. Why did FitBit remove the notifications toggle from holding down the left button? It often came in handy if I was in a meeting and didn't want my watch buzzing every time I got a notification.

I am having the same issue since updating the firmware of my versa. Hoping for a quick resolution, as I had no issues with the device before, and really miss my text notifications!

Having the same issue. Been on chat and corresponding through Twitter. Just keep getting told to turn off device, unpair bluetooth, uninstall app, update app, factory reset which I did every one of them. Then I was told my phone wasn't supported by device anymore (Samsung Galaxy S8). Worked fine until right after update.

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one having this issue! Recently I wasn't receiving text notifications at all on my Fitbit Versa. Upon reading other posts in these forums I found out that I needed to change the settings on my iPhone 11 to allow my text notifications on my phone be seen even when my phone was on lock screen. Not a huge issue and was easily resolved but I would still prefer not having to do this...
Fast forward to a week later and now my Fitbit Versa won't vibrate at all for text messages. It'll vibrate when I have a phone call and my text messages appear in my notifications as well but I don't know that I'm receiving them because if the lack of vibrations.
Ever since updating I've had both of these minor issues..Still love my Fitbit but hoping these things get resolved soon.

You said you were working on a solution to our notifications working again after the October update...do you have a solution now? It's been over a month!

SERIOUSLY!! I’ve been waiting for a solution since beginning of october and still nothing... should have gotten an apple watch...........

I also started having the same problem with no vibration on alerts after the last update. I hate swiping down to see my notifications because the quick menu always pops up and gets in the way. That is a nuisance! Apple Watch is looking better and better. Why still no ability to do quick replies to texts via the Versa for Apple users??

Thanks, Fitbit. This is a ridiculous issue that should have already been resolved. The "Best Answer" is NO answer? We have two exact same Versions of the Versa that were purchased just prior to the latest update. One for me, and one for my husband. His still receives text buzzes, mine doesn't. Definitely will not be buying the kids Fitbits for Christmas this year. Nothing but headaches in everything we try to do in getting these things to perform the way they're advertised
