Notification Service not Running on device

Since the latest Fitbit update I have been unable to receive notifications on my Versa from my OnePlus 6T. It was working perfectly before the update. I have un-paired and re-paired. Turned off my phone several times and my versa. I have reset to factory settings checked the settings on my phone and still I get no notifications. However a test call will work! It will sync, just have a notification problem. I also see that I am not the only one suffering. Are you working on a fix Fitbit??

Same goes for me!

Using OnePlus 6 with fitbit Ionic. When I delete the app and re-install, it works for an hour then stops sending notifications all of the sudden. I´m prompted with the error message on app: Notification service not running. A phone restart is required to re-enable notifications on your tracker.

I´ve tried every possible troubleshoot without success, really annoying issue this.

Same issue with LG V20 everything worked until app update. Followed troubleshooting steps. Send call notification doesn't work. None of the other notifications goes through.

I am having this same issue.  Why does this continue to happen.  We make our purchase of on item based upon reviews and what is advertised about the device.  I have samsung 7 edge, this needs to fix.

How is it going to take to "fix it", this has been an ongoing issue?

I would love to know! The email I have also sent them stated that they are 'working on the problem' just revert back to the previous update!!! Or use the previous version to give us a new update!!!

Any update on a fix yet? Still waiting!!!

I just got off their support helpline moments ago for the same issue ( Xiomi Note 5 pro user) and I got the same reply as we see in this thread. "We are aware and working on it". There is yet not an ETA for the fix. I bought Fitbit just a day back and am already disappointed. Did not wanted to shell out bucks just for a fancy looking watch which is NOT smart.

You should take it back while you have a chance to do so. This has been an
ongoing issue for quite some time. The end result of this is Fitbit will
lose not only new customers, but existing ones as well. If they cared at
all, I believe this would have been resolve by this point in time.
