Notification service not running message - Huawei P30

Help - I've searched the internet high and low for a permanent fix... But have come up empty handed. 

 

Every day my notification services turn off. I cannot get it to stay on. I've tried the following:

1) restarting phone - no change

2) toggling services 'off' then back on. - this works for maybe an hour

3) clearing the data and resigning into the app and enabling notification services. - this works for about 24-36 hours, then it shuts back down again

4) turning all other apps requesting notification access off - this does nothing. 

 

Please help! I have a versa, last updated the app 24 hours ago and have a Huawei P30
