Notification service not running

I have my watch about 3 weeks and the notification service will just not work. 2-3 times per day I have to delete the data in my phone settings, log into the app and set up my preferences again. I have checked that my app is up to date. It's really frustrating. Does anyone have an actual long term fix for this?

in with you just got mine and not getting call notifications. call service they blew me off and put me on file. tried everything, feel like I got a useless paperweight on my arm.
