Notifications Coming and Gong

My notifications seem to be working off and on. At first I thought they stop working after charging the watch. So I would reboot the watch and they would start working again. But today, it had nothing to do with charging the watch. The notifications are not coming in. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi @ZeekienVee - if your watch is in sleep mode or do not disturb mode you won't get notifications.

Long press the watch button (or press briefly & pull down on the watch face once and then again and tap on the 2 white bars) to get to Quick Settings and make sure the icons are off.

Also your phone has to be nearby and syncing.

You can also install the SimpleCheckUp watch app to check on the watch if the phone is reachable and when last synced to find out if you have a syncing issue.

@ZeekienVee Hi. Do you mean texts, emails, calls aren't coming thru on your watch?

This has happened to me. Not so much on and off like you described,

I would try to go to your fitbit app, click on your profile picture in the upper left hand corner. Tap on your watch, it should be listed. Tap Notifications (under General). Here you can select which Notifications you want to pop up on your watch.

Hope this helps

Thanks for the replies everyone. It was none of the issues you suggested. But it's been working OK since I posted this thread.

I think notifications start working again after I manually sync the watch. I don't understand why sometimes it seems to sync itself without me doing anything, and other times I have to manually do it.
