Notifications don't work

Since I have got my versa, notifications have worked just once may be, I have this constant error message in the app "notifications service not running, phone needs a restart". I have done all the steps mentioned in the help section. I removed the device and added it back which works for a bit and it's the same again. What am I missing here? Am on a android

Is the device you are trying to sync to a supported device?

Have you tried restarting the phone, there wasnt I mention of doing so?

Thank you for your response Guys,

I was able to fix this issue by changing the battery settings for the fit bit app in my phone notification settings. It needs to be on not optimised setting.

I keep forgetting about that @dushyant03 

When the OS is managing the battery usage of an app. If the app is not in front the app gets shut down and yes no notifications.
