Disappointed with notifications not working correctly, they are definitely more miss than hit!! Everything else seems to be ok including the sync. Is the notifications issue likely to be fixed? Cheers
Moderator edit: subject updated for clarity
You can check you notifications are switched on by press and holding the button on the left of your versa, then swipe left. Notifications should say “on” if it says off that could be why you’re not getting notifications.
Aparrently notifications sometimes get switched off when an update has been done.
Some people have have found that resetting their watch sorts it out too. To reset press and hold button on the left of your versa and the button on the lower right of your versa at the same time. Hold until you see the Fitbit logo appear on your watch
Heres also a link link for notifications troubleshooting Notifications help
hope this rectifies your notifications error
Best AnswerCheers, I do get some notifications when it feels like it. Have done all what u've put and factory reset too and read quite a number of troubleshooting documents. I have been a computer engineer for 25 years so can do numerous things myself but can't always rectify something out of my control
Best AnswerAhhh I see well you’ll know more than me for sure. I get all notifications except email if I’m honest which is weird. I’ve seen others have the same issue.
Gets a bit boring when you try everything and it doesn’t work
Best AnswerI'm always open and grateful for any suggestions. I tend to get emails the most and messages now and then 😁 u can't win!!
Best AnswerYou might also want to check on the phone side (see Fitbit app) in order to make sure that notifications for specific apps are turned on.
Best AnswerI maybe able to help you get your text notification working .I’ve got my email notifications working (so chuffed 😅)
If your an iPhone
if you go to your phone settings then click notifications, scroll to messages click on it, then turn on where it says show in show on locked screen ,show in history and show as banner.
Once you’ve done that sync your watch with Fitbit app and it should work. Apparently you have to enable show in history for it to work. I saw something about enabling all 3 so taking no chances and just switching them all on 😂
Ive taken pix to show you as I’m not always so clear when messaging 😅
