Notifications stop working every day

For as long as I've have my Versa (I bought it on the first day it was in stores) I have always had problems with the watch simply not showing some notifications which it should be showing.  NO, this is not a configuration issue, read on...

I have an iPhone 6 and a Versa "Special Edition" (which simply means it does NFC).  About every day, I'll notice my phone giving me a notification from an app or even something basic like a TXT message or a Calendar event, while the notification doesn't show up on my watch.  I can always fix it by simply restarting my watch (holding down the Back and Right-bottom buttons until the Fitbit symbol comes up).  After that, all notifications will again work just fine until the next day.  This pretty much happens on a daily basis.

The fact that simply restarting my watch fixes it, clearly shows there's something wrong between the phone and the watch AND that it's NOT a configuration issue.  (If it were configuration, then simply restarting the watch wouldn't fix it.)  It definitely looks like a bug in the watch OS or maybe in the iOS Fitbit app.  (I have notifications off while sleeping.  Maybe this doesn't get cleared when waking?)

It's not going to work. It's a KNOWN issue they have no solution for. I'm on my 3rd Fitbit versa special edition. All do the same exact thing. Good luck and I hope you don't have to deal with the issues I have had. By the time I get my replacement I am waiting for it will be about 5-6 weeks of not having a functional versa. Pick a different model if you get a choice.

@Rajid it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear that you need to restart your Fitbit Versa when the notifications feature stops working. I totally understand how you feel about this.

Please make sure that your iPhone 6 has the most recent Fitbit app version installed. If the app is up to date, log out of the app, restart your phone, open the app and log in.

Finally, try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. This article contains steps that you already tried but you can skip them and proceed with the rest. After this, monitor the notifications feature and see if the issue gets fixed.

Keep me posted on the outcome! Smiley Happy

This morning, I tried the first fix you mentioned (logging out of app, rebooting phone, logging back in).  That seemed to be working until around 2pm or so, at which time I noticed I wasn't getting notifications from Pushover on my watch again.  Restarting my watch, of course, fixed it.  It's a lot faster and easier to restart my watch than to logout, reboot the phone, and log back in!

I'll look at some of the other solutions as well, trying them one by one to see if any work.  Just wanted to check back in on the first one (works temporarily) for now.
